A growing number of enthusiasts have made this area one of the top ATV destinations in Wisconsin and the Midwest. For the ATV and motorcycle enthusiast, the Chequamegon National Forest contains over 140 miles of trails. 3 separate trail systems with adjoining loops, offer an exciting scenic tour of the Forest. Trails wind over rolling terrain, with towering forests and panoramic views of meadows.
  Biking - The CAMBA trails lie in and around the beautiful Chequamegon National Forest as well as in Bayfield and Sawyer County Forests - nearly a million acres in which to ride your fat tire bike. Of this, CAMBA has adopted an area of approximately 1,600 square miles. The system is divided into six clusters, each with one or more trail heads.

  Honor the Earth Pow Wow - Honor the Earth continues to be enjoyed by thousands of people each year who join each other in celebration as their relatives did for hundreds of years previously each Fall at Madeline Island before breaking for their winter camps.   Lac Courte Oreilles Band of Ojibwe - The Lac Courte Oreilles Tribe is one of six bands of the Lake Superior Band of Chippewa Indians who entered into treaties with the United States in 1837, 1842, and 1854. The Chippewa of this area have a long and rich heritage.
